7 J5-lovers online

A lot of people see them as a simple boy''s group playing bubblepop music and having had several hits in their early career, but does not dedicate a special interest.

Other people, like us, consider them as a key step in the career of the greatest artist of all time. The 4 successful debut singles (I Want You Back, ABC, The Love You Save and I'll Be There) are only the visible part of an amazing musical iceberg.

The Jackson 5 are a legacy. The legacy of a family who worked hard to reach the summits. The legacy of soul music. The legacy of Show Business and entertainment.

"We're here to entertain you ..." said the song from the album "Joyful Jukebox Music".

40 years later, their music is still there to entertain us.

Christmas Album

Jackson 5 Christmas Album Most of the Motown artists found time to record one, sometimes two or three albums for Christmas, and the young Jackson 5 were obviously candidates for being added to the list. The resulting album, usual mix of covers and original songs, became a classic Jackson 5. Energetic, enthusiastic, soulful, with vocals harmonizing all acute.

The Pearl

Before it became the hit we all know, Mama's Pearl was entitled Guess Who's Making Whoopie with Your Girlfriend, a curious song title for a young leader... All the lyrics had to be modificated, the instrumentation was also changed to become the version that was released as the 3rd track of the side 2 of the Jackson 5's Third Album! Exclusive from jackson5abc.com!

Written and composed by... The Jackson 5

In 1974, the Jackson 5 wrote and produced a song called "What's Your Game". MDLT Willis sang this track on this 7' single, and performed on Soul Train.

It's a nice funky track. We don't know if it was written by every brother, or just 2 or 3 of them... Just listen, and tell us what do you think about that.

The Jackson Find

This was supposed to be the story of the Jackson Five’s first single, cut in Chicago in 1967. But while writing it, Jake Austen picked up the trail of a tape nobody knew existed: the earliest known studio recording of Michael Jackson and his brothers.
