Jacksons Tour: Jackie's confirmation

In a recent phone call with MJBackstage team, Jackie Jackson confirmed the plans of a jackson Tour. He said: "there's been talk about a possible tour around the world set for 2008, which we and our manager are trying to put together. Hopefully everything goes well and we'll see the fans soon." He also confirmed the news regarding the venue of some of the Jacksons to the Jermaine Dupri new year party. but it seems there will not be a performance of the Jackson to this evening. Some of the brothers could be there. Things have to be confirmed.

Lors d'un récent coup de téléphone avec Jackie Jackson, l'équipe dui MJBackstage a posé quelques questions à l'ex-Jackson 5. Ainsi, il nous a confirmé les projets des Jacksons. "Avec notre manager, nous envisageons de mettre sur pied une tournée des Jacksons. Avec un peu de chance, cela se concrétisera en 2008. Et nous pourrons revoir tous nos fans. Nous avons hâte" nous a-t-il confié. Jackie Jackson nous a également confirmé que les Jacksons seraient normalement présent à Atlanta lors de la soirée réveillon mise sur pied par Jermaine Dupri. Mais pas pour une performance: "juste to have fun". En attendant, il souhaite d'excellentes fêtes de fin d'annéeà tous les fans !!

Recently, Jermaine Jackson traveled to United Kingdom for some TV interviews. There he explained that the Jacksons are going to release a new album. Their still working on it. He also mentionned that his family would be interested to make a TV show like "American Idol". That show could be recorded in Neverland, following Jermaine. But at this time, nothing is still difinitively confirmed. But we know, from Jackie Jackson himself that the Jackson brother are considering to make a new Jackson family album... 1) Raison d'avoir fait Big Brother. "Lorsque nous étions à Berlin pour une soirée d'anniversaire de mon père, je suis allé visiter la maison de Big Brother avec Joe et mon neveu (Taj). Et mon père m'a demandé si je serais capable de faire une telle chose. Je lui ai répondu que ce serait du gâteau... ce que je pensais que ce serait. Et puis, je pense que c'est mon père qui a créé l'occasion pour moi d'apparaître dans ce show, en Angleterre. Mais finalement, ce n'était pas si simple. (...) Quand on est enfermés comme cela à plusieurs, comme nous l'étions, il est difficile de rester...normaux (rires)."2) Une émission Jackson?. "Nous étudions la possibilité de créer un show appelé "The search of the legends", une émission calqué sur American Idol. Cela pourrait être filmé à Neverland... "3) Le soutien à Michael. "C'est difficile car Michael est souvent l'une des personnes les moins comprises sur cette terre. Pourtant c'est l'une des personnes qui donne le plus sur cette terre. C'est un donneur N°1 dans le monde: il donne de l'argent à des oeuvres, il soutient des personnes dans le besoin... que ce soit dans l'industrie, des familles dont il lit l'histoire dans les journaux, etc. Il a un grand coeur. Et toute l'affaire dont il a été victime était une conspiration. Un plan pour le mettre à terre. Mais il est très fort... il est aujourd'hui en studio. Et nous aussi, nous le sommes, et nous pourrions resortir un album Jackson 5...et repartir en tournée."

The Jackson 5 will tour in 2008 with Michael Jackson, according to his brother Jermaine. Rumours about a possible reunion of the pop legends has been rife for some time, culminating in claims from promoter Leonard Rowe recently that live dates were being planned.Jermaine Jackson has now given the clearest indication yet that the comeback is on and will take place next year, featuring their most famous member."Michael will be involved. We want to tour. We want to touch the lives of everybody who's bought our records and supported us. "It will probably start here first, but it will be sometime in 2008. That's our plan", he told the BBC in a new interview.Discussing Michael's acquittal on child sex offences in 2005, Jermaine said the five-piece are now "stronger than ever" and "owe" the fans who have supported them through thick and thin. The last album from the Jackson 5 - Michael, Jermaine, Marlon, Tito and Jackie - was "2300 Jackson Street" in 1989.

Reprise de "Got to be there" par Boyz II Men

Le groupe Boyz II Men sortira le 13 novembre prochain son nouvel album "Motown Hitsville USA" qui comprendra des reprises classiques d'artistes de la Motown. De Michael Jackson à Stevie Wonder, le trio reprend ces titres avec brio. Pour ce qui est de la reprise de Michael Jackson, le groupe a sélectioné le titre "Got To Be There". Les trois hommes n'en sont pas à leur première reprise Jacksonienne. En 2004 lors de la sortie de l'album Throwback, le groupe avait repris le titre "Human Nature" tiré de l'album Thriller.

A New Jersey man unwittingly purchased a cache of unreleased Jackson 5 recordings that he now hopes to release to the public. Unlike other "lost song" findings, this one appears to be a mother load with almost 60 tracks discovered.

Richard Altomare, the boss of luggage movement company Universal Express, bought a collection of unclaimed personal belongings from the warehouse, according to Contact Music. When he was going through the belongings he discovered tapes reported to contain almost 60 unreleased songs by The Jackson 5.

Contact Music reports that Altomare says he is negotiating with Sony as well as Michael Jackson and his sister Janet in hopes of releasing the material. "I've personally talked to Michael and Janet on the phone about the tapes, and even played on a couple of songs for them," Altomare said. "At first there was silence on the other end of the line, but that was quickly followed by giggles as if it brought them back to the day those songs were recorded."

What Janet who wasn't in the group has to do with it we don't know.

Contact Music reporte que Altomare dit être en pourparler avec Sony et Michael Jackson et sa soeur Janet, dans l'espoir de sortir cette musique. "J'ai personnellement parlé à Michael et Janet par téléphone, à propos de ces bandes, et même joué une paire de titres", dit Altomare. "Au début il y a eu un silence, mais qui fut vite suivi de rire nerveux comme si je les avais amenés à l'époque où ces chansons furent enregistrées."

Que vient faire Janet dans tout ça? On l'ignore.

Guilty plea in Jackson 5 drummer's death

CROWN POINT, Ind. - A woman has pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of a former drummer for the Jackson 5, authorities said Monday. Yolanda Davis, 45, will be sentenced to two years in prison if a judge accepts an agreement with prosecutors in Johnny Jackson's slaying. Her sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 24, Lake County prosecutors said. Davis told police she fatally stabbed Jackson with a steak knife when he lunged at her during a fight. Police found Jackson's body in a Gary home March 1, 2006, after responding to reports of a disturbance. Jackson, 55, of Gary, replaced the Jackson 5's original drummer around 1967. He was not related to members of the Jackson family who started the singing group.
