En 1981, Motown sort cette troisième compilation de Michael Jackson en solo (après The Best Of Michael Jackson en 1975, et Superstar Series vol. 7).
Cette fois-ci, il s'agit plus d'un recueil de titres peu connus que d'un best-of. L'album contient beaucoup de titres de l'album "Forever Michael", plus quelques chansons des Jackson 5. One Day In Your Life est un titre enregistré pour l'album "Forever Michael", en 1975. Cette année-là le 45 tours avait été publié en Europe, mais pas aux USA.
Motown profite de cet album pour éditer le single aux USA, en 1981.
A cette même époque, en Europe, le single "We're Almost There" est exploité, avec le même visuel que cet album, sans que le titre n'y figure.
